Well, the leaves have almost all touched down and the birds are heading south. Time to post a few projects we’ve done over the past few months as we brace for winter.
We’re happy to be posting some images this time of a recent project we photographed for Heuer Construction. This beautiful lobby is part of the Signature Flight terminal at Teterboro Airport. With the largest network of fixed base operations in the world, Signature Flight Support caters to private aviation across the globe. They provide services such as hangarage, maintenance, refueling, staffing, training, and other flight support at their more than 200 private terminals, worldwide. Heuer Construction, was involved in extensive renovations to the existing 4,000 sf. private lobby area, under the jurisdiction of the Port Authority of NY & NJ. Working with airport ground control, security and customer service, they coordinated the workflow logistics of the project. This included utilizing pre-fabricated, flexible temporary partitions to safely divert customers away from work zones as the project progressed. Working around the clock to minimize noise and disruption to private jet customers, they were able to keep the facility functioning during the six week construction schedule. The entire project was completed several days ahead of a mandatory completion date. (Scroll down to see more images)
Heuer, along with Schenkel Shultz Architects and KMI International, were able to meet client expectations with complete satisfaction by all parties and agencies involved, on a project with particularly demanding requirements.
This project was a pleasure to photograph for us. Not only because of the beauty of the environment and space, but the staff was very helpful, friendly and made our day of shooting go smoothly. Truly a professional operation.
Now …If only I had a plane : \
