Whole House Integration – Photographs

When you want the ability to entertain a large number of guests, both indoors and outdoors, along with not missing any sporting events, you want whole house integration. That’s exactly what this client requested from Electronics Design Group. EDG has specialized in design and installation of cutting edge technology solutions for over 25 years. With 69 national industry awards for technical excellence and innovation, they have covered a lot of ground. As a longtime client, we were pleased to photograph this project for them and as always, had a hard time leaving.

The request on this project was for an easy to use, fully integrated system that included a TV in every room, music control, lighting control and HVAC control. To accomplish this, HVAC was divided into 7 integrated zones with external sensors throughout the house. there are more than 100 zones integrated for lighting with a panelized Control4 system. There are 26 zones of Distributed Audio and 16 zones of Distributed Video. Control4 Matrix and amplifiers for audio and leaf 20X20 video distribution center were connected to 5 Direct TV boxes, 2 Apple TVs and 1 blu-ray player. There is one complete packaged network in this project which consists of a controller and 6 wireless access points. Control4 is connected to a Jandy interface system for the 1 integrated zone for the pool and 1 integrated zone for the spa. Control4 door stations which are located at the front door and the mudroom door complete the 1 zone that is for Access Control.
